Context & Challenge
Lokako operates luxury holiday homes with distinct characters and guest demographics, receiving reservations across Booking.com, Naturehouse, and direct bookings. This fragmented setup resulted in multiple disconnected websites and disjointed booking flows. What seemed workable on paper quickly turned into an attention drain: manual calendar syncs, scattered customer data, and the ever-present risk of double bookings. Furthermore, management needed to be accessible to other family members without relying on constant verbal explanations.
The Strategy & Concept
We approached this as a quest for operational control: one integrated digital platform that elevates rental operations and unifies property management. Not by piling on more disjointed tools, but by eliminating friction. A unified website where each home retains its distinct brand identity, seamlessly connected to a central reservation engine that synchronizes channels, automates guest communication, and provides instant clarity.
Execution & Action
We executed in two phases. First, we unified their digital presence into a cohesive, high-performance website built with WordPress, designed specifically for conversion and immersive storytelling. Next, we implemented a custom reservation system featuring a centralized back-office dashboard for managing bookings and manual inquiries, paired with a front-end booking flow. The backbone features bidirectional real-time synchronization with Booking.com and Natuurhuisje.be, automated multilingual transactional emails, instant notifications, and customer database export capabilities.
Results & Impact
A digital solution only succeeds when it eliminates human error and cognitive burden. Lokako didn't just get a new website; they gained a robust system that delivers peace of mind: single-pane overview, reduced administrative hours, zero booking collisions, and the freedom to manage their luxury properties with focus and hospitality.
